Introduction to ‘rapid systematic review’ methodology and meta-analysis

Purpose: To enhance research capacity in low- and lower-middle-income countries
Participants: Early-stage or potential researchers without systematic review experience, with the intention of undertaking research for which this course would be relevant.
You will also be invited to participate in upcoming training including advanced systematic review methods from the i-CIP Collaborative Network as they become available. Participation in this training is not a pre-requisite to those nor does it preclude you from participating in them.
Requirements: Clinical qualification (e.g., medical, nursing) or related fields such as Public Health, Women's Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics
Maximum number of participants: 20
Selection criteria: Participants to be selected by the organizing committee according to alignment with the course objectives and the need for geographic and other balance.
Objectives:

Participants understand the rationale for randomization in clinical trials and systematic reviews of randomized clinical trials

Participants need a laptop with RevMan installed to conduct the meta-analysis
